Our Directors, Charlie Albone and Shane Kingsbury, were there on the night to proudly accept this prestigious recognition, celebrating our Maroubra Residential project—a testament to our team’s hard work, passion, and unwavering dedication to delivering exceptional landscape design.
The Landscape Excellence Awards highlight the industry’s best, acknowledging outstanding craftsmanship, management, and innovation. The ‘Residential Design 80m² to 200m²’ category focuses on projects that enhance single dwelling units, including stunning pool surrounds, intricate paving, bespoke timber structures, and elegant water features. Our Maroubra project exemplified these qualities, combining thoughtful design with meticulous attention to detail to create a captivating and functional outdoor space.
The Maroubra Residence was designed as a private, usable oasis tailored for a young family. Flowing seamlessly from the indoor lounge, the alfresco dining area opens onto a small but practical lawn. Steppingstones lead to a fully tiled, heated magnesium pool, providing a refreshing retreat with a depth of 1.8 meters. A key feature is the strategically oriented cabana, offering ample space for lounging and an infrared sauna, all while maintaining privacy from neighbouring views. The cabana’s rooftop garden softens the structure, adding to the urban sanctuary feel. The garden features a sculptural mix of succulents, olives, and drought-hardy shrubs, ensuring year-round interest with minimal maintenance—perfect for the keen gardener homeowner to enjoy without the burden of upkeep.
